Supply of Gooseneck Terminal Trailers to transport heavy static material

Overview

The client required fixed gooseneck trailers to transport heavy static goods and material within the port complex after it had been unloaded from ships.

Solution

Khimji Ramdas Engineering Products & Services along with M/s Seacom (Poland) proposed gooseneck trailers with a length of 45 feet and a maximum load capacity of 80 tonnes. The trailers have a proven track record for reliability, ease of operation and simple maintenance.

Result

Six trailers were ordered and these were manufactured adhering to international standards and delivered to the Port of Duqm in 2019. The on-site load test and trial run was successfully completed by the Khimji Ramdas Engineering Products & Services at Duqm.

Conclusion

The Port of Duqm uses the trailers for daily port operations and have expressed complete satisfaction with the product quality and service provided.
